A little recap of the JustFab – Fab Kids Fall photoshoot I was able to work on. My girl, Amanda, is the Production Coordinator and Just Fab and booked me as an assistant stylist. The kids were so lovely to work with and they had the cutest wardrobe!
Founder and CEO of Beautycon, Moj Mahdara, has created a culture that combines brands, audiences, and artists all around the country. I attended my first Beautycon and met a few artists that I deeply admire. MakeupShayla and ILuvSarahii were there with Maybelline and presented the dual contour stick on a model – they really knew how to interact with their following. Joyce Bonelli presented on a model the ‘Klassic Kardashian’ heavy contour with a taupe eye – it was FLAWLESS. She mentioned she took sculpting classes in the beginning of her career and she learned to carve a face. Lastly, Tyra Banks made an appearance – we’re laughing in the below pic because the 12 year old self in me decided to yell TYRAAA MAIL!!! when I saw her. Overall it was an awesome experience bringing the social media beauty world to life.
I met celebrity makeup artist Amber Dreadon at PhamExpo earlier this year and was so inspired by her. She graciously let me assist her on a music video for Muna’s hit song, Loudspeaker. It was my first time assisting on a music video – it felt like the longest day ever but it was non stop and so much energy! Loved it and the girls were amazing!
Danielle Marino was my first friend in high school and never ceases to amaze me. She started to get involved with CrossFit about three and a half years ago and has continuouslysucceeded. She has competed in the 2014 CrossFit Games SoCal Regionals, 2015 Wodapalooza Elite Team, 2015 University Nationals USAW, 2016 Wodapalooza Elite Team, 2016 43rd Placement in CrossFit Games Open, and 2016 University Nationals USAW. In addition to competing, she trains with the support of Xendurance and is one of the strongest, hard working gals I know.
